Wake County is joining thousands of organizers holding recycling events across the country to celebrate America Recycles Day, every Nov. 15th, a national initiative of Keep America Beautiful.

The annual Wake County Recycling Day event will take place on Saturday, November 18, 2017, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., at the North Wake Multi-Material Recycling Facility, located at 9029 Deponie Drive in Raleigh (map). The event is FREE and open to all Wake County residents.

There will be paper shredding, electronics recycling, household hazardous waste recycling, and household recycling. There will also be education and outreach activities going on including recycle bin giveaways (while supplies last).
