We will be offering free on-site document destruction on Friday, November 8th from 7:00 am until noon.
The event is free and open to the public. To help fight back against identity theft, the public is encouraged to bring up to two (2) bags or boxes of old personal information to a mobile shredding truck that will be located in the north parking lot of Garrett Coliseum.
The event is intended for private residential document shredding, not for business or company disposal. The two (2) bag/box limit will be strictly enforced to keep the flow of traffic moving. No advance document sorting is necessary as shredding equipment can destroy paperwork with paper clips, staples or rubber bands attached.
All confidential records are disposed of properly. All shredded paper will be recycled.
We will also be collecting non-perishable food items and monetary donations for the Montgomery Area Food Bank.
