Central Mississippi Glass Recycling “Fill the Truck” Event; Jackson Metro Area Business E-Waste (and batteries) Collection Day

Sponsored by the Mississippi Department of Environmental Quality (MDEQ), the Mississippi Chapter of the Solid Waste Association of North America (SWANA), Keep Mississippi Beautiful (KAB) and Door 2 Door Recycling; we are collecting empty, clean food and beverage container glass from Central Mississippi residents.  We will also accept from area businesses, but we are asking they contact MDEQ at 601-961-5171 prior to November 15 to make arrangements.  See flyer for additional details.  Bring us your glass, Central Mississippi!

Sponsored by MDEQ, KMB, Keep Jackson Beautiful, the City of Jackson, the Mississippi Recycling Coalition, the Greater Jackson Chamber Partnership and Magnolia Data Solutions; we will also be collecting (same day/same location) electronic waste and batteries.  $2 fee for flat screen computer monitors, $5 fee for CRT computer monitors and $15 fee for all televisions.  No cost for other items!  See flyer for additional details.

(required) It's possible that we could do that, but not sure how much interest we will have at this point.
