America Recycles Day Fall Festival

November 15, 2017 @ 3:30 pm - 5:30 pm
  • This event has passed.

Nimitz/STEM Middle School is hosting our annual fall festival in conjunction with America Recycles Day.  All our games and activities involved reusing materials in some way.  For example, we have ring toss using old bottles, angry birds using tin cans as the pigs, baseball throw,  and so much more.  We will also have a can crushing contest, a cardboard costume contest, a cupcake walk, and a bouncy house as well as food, free arts and crafts, and free face painting.  All the money we raise through the event goes towards our community service events for the year such as sending care packages to US soldiers for Christmas, and making blankets for the homeless in January.  The event is open to the entire community and will also serve as a drop off station for recyclables.
