KAB hereby grants you permission to use the Marks, subject to the following conditions, which you acknowledge are essential to protect KAB’s rights in the Marks:
- You agree to only use the Marks in connection with promoting public awareness of the need for recycling in the United States and acknowledge that no permission is granted to use the Marks in any other manner or in any other jurisdiction other than the United States;
- You agree to only use the Marks in accordance with KAB’s branding guidelines.
- You agree to include a prominent notification on all materials you use bearing the Marks that the Marks are being used with the permission of KAB;
- You acknowledge, and agree not to directly or indirectly challenge, KAB’s rights in the Marks;
- You agree to indemnify and hold KAB harmless from any claims for infringement by third parties resulting from your use of the Mark; and
- You agree to cease using the Marks immediately upon receiving notice from KAB that this permission has been revoked.
- For for-profit organizations only: In addition to items 1 -6, you agree not to use the logo mark unless you have contacted and obtained a signed agreement with KAB. You are permitted to use the word mark if you agree to include a prominent notification on all materials you use bearing the word mark – America Recycles DaySM are being used with the permission of KAB.
