Event Description: Vandenberg AFB will coordinate an art contest with an onbase elementary school. Fourteen pieces of art will be selected to be included in a calendar that is distributed basewide. The calendar includes recycling information and pollution prevention tips. All artwork will be on display at the base library. Sculptures made from recycled materials will be on display at the base library from nearby middle school students. A week long exhibit at the library will include elementary school artwork, middle school students' sculptures, recycling information, and reference material.
